Having started as a satellite TV operator, M7 has now become a platform agnostic TV provider, adding IPTV, DTT and OTT capabilities where that best fits the preferred local way of TV consumption.
You will be the ‘go to person’ within M7 when it comes to data collection and analysis. You oversee all business critical reporting and make sure all KPI’s are reported in a consistent way. You understand how the Data Warehouse and all of its underlying databases are connected and you work closely together with our IT business partner that provides supporting services. Aligning with Canal+ to unify and further automating our KPI reporting and analyisis is key in this position. The position reports to the Vice President Finance and is based in Luxembourg.
• Collect data on the commercial performance of the different brands in order to help the teams to make their sales, marketing and customer relations actions more effective.• Report and analyse the financial performance of all business units and propose business recommendations on operational or strategic actions. • Reporting on the usage and viewership of our sVOD and other OTT content in order to improve the usage of our products and optimize our content investments. • Develop and maintain relevant and reliable reporting tools and templates to monitor the activity of the different Business Units; own the overall reporting platforms. • Align and co-operate with Canal+ International to move all reporting efforts to the Canal+ format that uses Microsoft Power BI. • Measuring the performance of the sales, marketing and customer relations departments' actions on subscriber loyalty and value. • To visualize and present the results of the analysis and make recommendations/proposals to the country managers. • To develop customer segmentations & scorings based on available subscriber data (CRM, financial, usage) to better detect populations at risk or appealing to certain offers.
• Education in statistics / datamining / data science / big data.• Experience with statistical modelling software, programming and data visualization (SAS, R, Python, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) and good knowledge of database management (SQL, data modelling). • More than 5 years of experience in a comparable job, fluent in English • Very good communications skills; able to make and present recommendations to management. • Self propelling, enjoys teamwork, takes initiatives. • Lives in or close to Luxembourg
